Join us for our 7th Annual celebration to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Come learn about leaders and followers of the Civil Rights Movement, give back through service projects, and help build the Beloved Community. This year we are expanding from a one-day event to one-week. Our goal is to partner with as many kids, families, businesses and organizations as possible. Working together we can help build Dr. King’s vision of the Beloved Community (definition below) Come join us in SERVICE, LEARNING, MUSIC, ART, ACTIVISM & LOVE and help spread goodness throughout your community. #beLOVEdcommunityrocks
This year will will be partnering with Christus Lutheran Church, Highand Park Community Church, Ovations DanceStudio, The Treehouse Coffee Shop and Cafe Joseph’s House of Camden Cathedral Kitchen, The Neighborhood Center and more TBA.
DAY OF SERVICE, LEARNING & KIDS CAMP
Come as a family or drop your child off. Join us for the morning, afternoon or both! Lunch and lite breakfast is included.
ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: Community Service Projects * Story Circles * Music, Arts & Fitness activities teaching the lessons of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the Civil Rights Movement.

-Assembling KIDS CARE BAGS- creative, active and necessary items for our young neighbors in need.
-Assembling HOMELESS CARE BAGS to be distributed
throughout Camden and Philadelphia. Bags include socks, water bottles, soft granola bars, crackers, chap stick, Vienna sausages, lotion and…

Dr. King’s Beloved Community is a global vision, in which all people can share in the wealth of the earth. In the Beloved Community, poverty, hunger and homelessness will not be tolerated because international standards of human decency will not allow it.
